BCDMH is white powder, slightly soluble in water. The melting point is 159-163. At 20°C, 2.5g of achlorhydantoin is dissolved in 1L of water, and the pH value of 0.1% aqueous solution is 2.88. Stable when dry, with a slight pungent odour.

BCDMH can continuously release active Br-ions and active CI- ions through dissolution in water to form hypoxic acid and hypochlorous acid. To achieve the purpose of sterilization.

BCDMH is a new type of bactericidal and disinfecting water treatment agent. It is widely used in the disinfection treatment of industrial water treatment systems, indoor and outdoor swimming (bath) pools, sanitation systems and aquaculture water environments.
